What happens when ‘90s show Art Attack meets real, working artists?

Art Works! is a project created for OCAD University where conceptual and social practice art meets how-to fun! Hosted by the “conceptual reincarnation of the greco-classical sculptural art object of the head”, real-life artists like Allyson Mitchell (Idea Mapping), Sean Martindale’s (Poster Pocket Plants),and Dana Prieto (Mestizaje: Belonging to Mixture) show audiences how to bring their ideas to life!

Art Works! parodies the beloved 90s children’s television series Art Attack to document and share the process of socially innovative artists working today. This project was subsequently turned into a 10-episode digital series with CBC Arts titled This Art Works!
