DESCRIPTION

Art Can Change is an interactive installation created for the Creative Catalyst Symposium in collaboration with Ryerson student group Bodhi Collective.

The installation guided the audience through three stages. First, the participant starts with an interactive projection where they wrote their answer to “Art can change…”. We then asked audience members to answer and ruminate on personal questions on their personal, societal and existential fears and participant through a string installation. Under a glowing LED “cloud” hand-crafted out of Japanese paper, participants are then asked to contribute their own ideas on what they believe art is capable of changing.
